HYpothermic Hoedown 2012

The Hypothermic Hoedown is a winter fun-run through woods, fields, streams, frozen swamps and manmade obstacles. The goal of the event is to inspire kids and adults to get outside and show Winter who’s boss!

This will be a fun day for everyone, with additional events depending on the availability of snow. They may include a nature trek, snow critter building, snowshoeing and cross country skiing, ice-skating, NERF battles, live music, and other outdoor activities to get your body moving. The early morning and early afternoon will include a winter hot air balloon launch. And of course, lots of hot foods & drinks. This is an event for the whole family!

Parking for all events is available at the Cambridge Central School -- 58 South Park St. Cambridge, NY.

All proceeds from this event will help to set up a fund to support enrichment opportunities for the youth of Cambridge and will help to fund this Spring’s science expedition to Costa Rica.
